In the involvement of full disclosure, here's everything I knew about the Corpse Political party series before playing this game: the name and the general gameplay of the commencement one. Now I know what y'all're thinking. Why is the guy who knows almost nothing about Corpse Party reviewing something in the Corpse Political party series? Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash, a canon spin-off of sorts, really makes allowances for people simply getting into the serial while still appealing to defended fans. Who knows? It retains the power to cull between sure actions during key events, merely otherwise its similarities to prior Corpse Political party games are in the form of callbacks to them. Students brand reference to what they did in prior games and the music includes clips of other Corpse Party songs. When that doesn't work information technology smashes the fourth wall into grit, just it happens so oftentimes that information technology loses its consequence a couple chapters in. So it tries to get a laugh by acknowledging its own faults with its characters or story. Not only does this lose its luster quickly, simply information technology shouldn't acknowledge the problems here, also as in the mainline games, and then non accost them. Some chapters don't involve death or injury of any sort relieve for a bad ending or two, and most of the deaths are pretty tame. Falling into a night pit is a favorite kill for Sachiko'south Hysteric Birthday Bash, and sometimes the screen would flash red, someone would die and I'd have no idea what happened.
Who does Sachiko summon? If I were to list all the characters she brought in, it might take an entire paragraph. Did I mention this is all presided over by a seven-year former demon daughter? I realize what I just said probably convinced someone to buy this, but eventually it just became uncomfortable and a little embarrassing to sit down through.
